Happy New Year
Good morning and Happy New Year to you all! Welcome back after what for many people has seemed like a long Xmas break. Some schools have started back today and many offices are open again this morning, but some of us have of course been at work off and on throughout the Christmas period and we want to thank those of you who work in the emergency services, and also in shops and the leisure industry, at petrol stations and in churches, nursing homes and all of those other jobs that we continue to rely on during holiday times. For us at Family Matters York, family has of course been at the centre of our Xmas celebrations. Spending time with loved ones is so much more important than spending money on them, and we hope you have also managed to have some fun with your family and friends. But Xmas can also be a really difficult time when the expectation of playing happy families just doesn't turn into reality. Being out of routine and trapped in a small space can seem more like living in a battleground! It is likely that 2016 will go down in history as a year in which our society shifted and changed, and here at Family Matters York we want to help any of you who are struggling with the way your family relationships work. We have just posted up the courses we are running this half term, and there will be more to come next half term. So have a look at what we've got on, and if there are some habits in your family relationships that you want to shift, then book yourself on, and we would love to help you out.
