Parenting children with additional needs
Format: Courses vary from 5-8 weeks, 2 hour sessions
If you’re a parent of a child with additional needs, you’ll know that a lot of traditional parenting advice just doesn’t ‘cut it’ in your family; potentially leaving you feeling isolated and frustrated. The best thing about our additional needs courses is the chance to meet with other parents in a similar position to yours, to share ideas and be encouraged that you’re not alone. We will cover topics like helping your child reach their potential, boosting self-esteem, managing behaviours, coping with feelings & the reality of the impacts of your child’s additional needs on your whole family.
Our 'Additional Needs' course is a great foundation for any parent/carer with a child who has additional needs*. We now also offer further courses specifically supporting parents who have children with autism*, or children with ADHD*.
(* diagnosis is not required in order to attend these courses)
