25 Years of Family Matters York!
On Saturday 7 March, we celebrated 25 years of supporting local families with a ceilidh at the Gateway Centre.
It was a joyous community celebration, bringing together families of all shapes and sizes for a ceilidh, good conversation and plenty of cake! We also raised over £850 to support our ongoing work across York and the surrounding area.
It was wondeful to see so many people who had played a part in building the charity and who care so deeply about nurturing family relationships.
Thank you to all who came and made the night so memorable. Special thanks to: Ness’ Monsters for leading the ceilidh so fabulously; the wonderful volunteers who supplied cake, took photos and handled the tech; and to the Lord Mayor of York, the Sheriff of York and their consorts for supporting the event.
